Airventures Video

Hello fellow ClipWings members,

   I am a life long aircraft enthusiast, Air Show fan and amateur photographer/videographer based on Long Island, New York.  I am also an active pilot and hold a Commercial license, Airplane Single/Multi Engine, Instrument and Flight Instructor ratings.  Most of my flying on the weekends is as an instructor, and I currently fly/teach in the C-150, C-172R and CH2T Alarus.  The largest aircraft I have flown regularly was the Dehaviland DHC-6 Twin Otter.  When not flying I am employed in the IT field as a Software Engineer.

  I am an air show fan and have traveled as far east as the UK (Duxford) and as far west as Las Vegas (Nellis AFB).  My favorite place to be for a show is Geneseo, NY.  I prefer the smaller shows and grass strips where you can get up close to the planes and pilots.  I fly out of a grass strip myself - Bayport, NY (23N) and also belong to the Bayport Aerodrome Society.

My goal is to obtain my tailwheel endorsement and one day fly vintage aircraft.

  While I love photography, I find that I really enjoy videography and concentrate my efforts there at air shows.  There is something about the moving image and capturing the sights and sounds of an aircraft in flight.   It is for this reason I became a member of ClipWings and hope to share some of my video productions with you all.
